Wikker beta
Privacy policy
How the Wikker beta handles your information. Last updated October 2, 2026.
Information we collect
We collect the account details you provide, including your name, email, account role, and sign-in information. Google or Apple sign-in, when used, supplies an identity identifier and the information you authorize. We do not receive your Google or Apple password.
Candidate information may include a professional summary, skills, credentials, experience, work history, approximate location, work preferences, profile photo, and an optional resume. Employers provide company information, opportunities, requirements, and preferences. We also store applications, shortlist decisions, connections, messages, notification settings, support requests, and reports.
Technical information includes security and error logs, request timestamps and IP addresses, and a device notification token if you enable push. When paid employer plans are available, we store billing identifiers, plan status, and access periods. Payment details are collected by the payment provider.
How we use information
We use this information to operate accounts, show relevant opportunities and applicants, explain match scores, enable connections and messages, deliver requested notifications, manage access, resolve support requests, and protect the service from abuse. Match percentages describe alignment with recorded criteria; employers make hiring decisions.
What other users can see
Relevant employers can see permitted professional profile information and application evidence. Private Work Profile answers and matchmaking descriptions are used for matching and are not displayed to other users. Resumes are available only through an accepted connection. Messages are shared with conversation participants. A recipient may retain information they have already downloaded or received.
Service providers
Wikker uses hosting and database services, Amazon S3 for uploaded files, an email delivery provider, and Expo with Apple or Google services for push delivery when enabled. Stripe processes employer payments when paid plans are enabled. Providers receive the information needed to perform these functions. Processing locations depend on the configured providers and may be outside your country.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, control discovery, remove your resume, and manage optional email and push alerts. Device permissions can be changed in your phone settings. Essential account verification and recovery emails remain available. You can request access, correction, or deletion through support.
Retention and deletion
We retain information while it is needed to operate your account and the service. You can request account and personal-data deletion. We verify ownership before acting and review shared conversations, company records, billing obligations, and unresolved reports. Some records may be retained where needed for security, disputes, or legal obligations; we will explain applicable exceptions when handling your request. Backup copies may remain until their normal rotation.
Security and changes
We use access controls and protected connections to limit access to personal information. No service can guarantee absolute security. The beta may change; material changes to how we handle information will be reflected here with an updated date.
